MATTO and its members with donations of laptops for teachers in 25 schools in 14 municipalities in the Republic of North Macedonia
Macedonia-Turkey Chamber of Commerce (MATTO) and its members, in order not to stop the educational process in the Republic of North Macedonia, and at the same time for it to continue, as well as to improve in the wake of the KOVID-19 pandemic, donated laptops for teachers in schools across the country.
MATTO and its members donated 61 laptops to 25 schools in 14 municipalities across the country for teachers mainly in rural areas.
This activity of MATTO and its members follows the decision of the Ministry of Education and Science for the educational process in the academic year 2020/2021 to take place online.
MATTO, within the activities for social responsibility, as well as its members as socially responsible companies visited a number of municipalities and schools where they met with teachers.
As part of the action, in addition to the Macedonia-Turkey Chamber of Commerce which donated 10 laptops, Halk Bank – 10 laptops, City Plaza Holding – 5 laptops, TAV Makedonija DOOEL – 5 laptops, Erak Group DOOEL – 5 laptops, Clinical Hospital Acibadem Sistina – donated 5 laptops, Maarif International School – 3 laptops, TFI TAB Gida Jatirimlari (King burger and Usta doner) – 3 laptops, City Plaza DOO Skopje – 2 laptops, Stone Bridge Hotel – 3 laptops, Limak Holding – 5 laptops and Pucko Petrol- 5 laptops.
On behalf of MATTO, City Plaza DOO Skopje donated laptops to the Municipality of Centar which were distributed to teachers in the schools.
On behalf of MATTO, the members of the Chamber donated laptops for the primary school “Tefejuz”, Skopje, for the primary school “Istikbal”, Tetovo; Skopje; for the primary school “Mustafa Kemal Ataturk”, Municipality of Studenicani; primary school “Krste Petkov Misirkov” and primary school “Nikola Karev” in the Municipality of Radovis; for the primary school “Ali Fethi Okjar” in the Municipality of Dolneni; primary school “Cyril and Methodius” in the municipality of Prilep; primary school “Braka Miladinovci” in the Municipality of Mogila, Bitola; in the Municipality of Valandovo it was donated in the regional primary schools “Cvetan Dimov”, “Mosha Pijade”, “Namik Qemal”, “November 29”; in the Municipality of Dojran in the primary school “Kocho Racin”, in the Municipality of Strumica in the primary schools “Goce Delchev”, “Dame Gruev” and “Marshal Tito”, in the Municipality of Centar Zupa in the primary school “Nexhati Zekerija”, Kodzadzik, as well as in the regional schools in the villages of Elevci, Brestani, Pralenik, Novak; in the Municipality of Plasnica in the primary school “Mustafa Kemal Ataturk”, and in the primary school “Yunus Emre”, village Lisichani which is within the same municipality; in the Municipality of Karbinci, Stip in the primary school “Strasho
Pindzur”; in the Municipality of Resen for the primary school “Braka Miladinovci, village Carev Dvor.
The activities related to the distribution of donations from MATTO and its members were organized by the Turkish newspaper “Yeni Balkan”.
MATTO and its members will continue with such and similar activities in the future.
