Public dialogue to get a new model – not us to be guided by politics, but politics to be guided by the economy, the private sector and citizens, said the President of the Economic Chamber Macedonia – Turkey (MATTO), Ajdovan Ademoski at today’s meeting with the leader of VMRO- DPMNE, Hristijan Mickovski.
Aydovan noted that the country’s welfare is common, but the business community and politics have so far largely lacked common ground.
– Politicians should hear the voice of the business community which is realistic and objective. We, the entrepreneurs, the taxpayers, should with our work bring out the economic growth, but also development. I believe that the parties will be adequately transformed like us and that we will work in sync, said Ademovski.
Mickovski came to MATTO accompanied by party representatives to present the pre-election economic program, but also to hear the proposals of the companies.
– Our commitment is to intensify the relations of the future government, led by VMRO-DPMNE, with all chambers of commerce, including MATTO. Why not talk about double-digit numbers of investors from Turkey and two to three times more employees in MATTO, said Mickovski.
He also said that he expects what they will get at the meeting to be implemented in the party’s economic program.
MATTO member companies have invested more than two billion euros in the country, and employ over 10,000 people.
MATTO has so far had meetings with the economic team of SDSM, led by the party leader Zoran Zaev, with the Turkish parties, as well as with Alternative.
